On June 6, Frankie Lee III shared his beautiful dance solo in response to "Prism 5" and "Prism 7" on display in NCMA's sculpture garden behind the West Building. American Dance Festival launched their 2026 performance season with "TIMES FOUR 1975/2025." Unique classes and performances are happening this week! DANCERS: Apply to these opportunities! Tag yourself below, dancers! Presented by Synchronicity Arts (@synchronicity_arts) in collaboration with Anabelle Scarborough (@anabellegracee), the first evening of the festival was an explosion of raw artistic expression from 14 performers: the dancers lamented, laughed, reflected, and used every inch of the roughly 150 SF stage while the musicians blared, played, scratched, and experimented with almost every surface of their instruments.
