About
Emerging Artist Resources (EAR) is thrilled to partner with Dance on Camera to create a new pathway into one of the world’s longest-running dance film festivals.
As part of the 55th annual Dance on Camera Festival, EAR and Dance on Camera are launching a new Emerging Artist Program designed to discover, celebrate, and showcase the next generation of dance filmmakers.
For 55 years, Dance on Camera has celebrated the evolving relationship between movement and film, and the artists who continue to imagine what can happen when the two intersect. This new program extends that spirit to emerging artists, creating dedicated space for new voices, ideas, and approaches to dance on screen.
We want to see how you imagine dance on screen. We are looking for work that is unexpected, strange, beautiful, and entirely your own – work that reveals your visual language through movement and explores the relationship between dance and the screen.
Whether you’ve been making dance films for a few years or this is your very first collaboration between dance and film, invite us into your perspective, your curiosity, and the world you’re creating.
The Emerging Artist Program is dedicated to discovering and showcasing new voices in dance films.
